The Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach & Area has honoured three great men: Doug Culham, George Watson and Bruce Young received the Paul Harris Fellowship Award off the hands of President Martin Jurgeit. Just a few minutes earlier, Martin had taken over office from Bob Gruzuk. Charter member Walter Borthwick lauded the three individuals and gave a brief but meaningful background on them. More... |

Charter President and Honorary Member Karl Fuhre sen. has been recognized by the Government of Ontario with the Citizen Award for outstanding achievements in a volunteer organization. President Bob handed out the award to Rotarian Karl. Karl is recovering from knee surgery, and we are glad that he can come out to the meetings again. Welcome back, Karl! |

Feb 04, Rotarians of the Wasaga Beach Club and their spouses gathered at Marilyn Ruttan's home for a cosy winter fireside meeting. The social was set up as a pot-luck, and Rotarian Rick had made sure, that A-B brought salads, C-R a main dish and S-Y the dessert (Ask Rick how that works, but somehow it did). Equipped with plenty of yummy food and liquid refreshments the Rotarians enjoyed the wonderful evening and chatted the time away.
