 | | Santa Claus was in town, but guess what: Nobody could tell us what happened to the old Santa, but this one wasn't a new kid on the block either: With his appearance, freshly shaved and groomed, he looked more like a career politician rather than the real Santa. Well, the first impression was not right: His forceful "Ho Ho Hos" echoed from the Beacon walls, and indeed he brought nice gifts and poems for the Rotarians and their spouses. More... |

Feb 15, 2004 - Blueberry Trails Nordic Ski Centre |
| Winter Wonderland |
|---|
 | | Rotarian Marilyn Ruttan had a great idea, took matters in her own hands and organized the first Nordic Ski Day in the (remembered) history of the Rotary Club of Wasaga Beach & Area. It was a great, crisp, sunny and cold sunday afternoon: Winter Wonderland. Some went snow shoeing, others brought their cross country skis. After ten or so kilometers the group met at the Nordic Ski Center for some hot chocholate and muffins. We had a fantastic time and a great day that will be remembered by all who participated.
