Our first convention is going great. Cathy, Katie and I attended the Rotary Centennial Parade on Saturday. It lasted for nearly 2 hours with over 100 different floats and bands. 2003-04 President Bob Gruzuk and 1984 Charter President Karl Fuhre (Honorary Club Member)
The evening of Saturday, June 26th was a particularly special occasion for our club. The hall at the Wasaga Stars Arena had been beautifully decorated to receive close to sixty members, partners and guests as we combined our Annual Changeover Night with a celebration of our club's twentieth anniversary. Among those attending were four Charter Members, eleven past presidents and several special guests. It was particularly meaningful to have Charter President Karl Fuhre Sr. and his wife Ruth along with his son Karl Jr., our President in 1987 and his wife Jacqui seated at a table in the middle of the hall.
